The Haemophilia Association Lesotho (HAL) plays a leadership role in advocacy by convening the government of Lesotho to promote equitable access to care and to current and emerging treatments. We leverage global and regional advocacy work to enhance the impact of national advocacy initiatives related to policy, care delivery and procurement.<\/h5>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

People with bleeding disorders\u2019 communities face many challenges getting access to proper care in many countries around the world. The gap between observed versus expected people with hemophilia is even greater than it was estimated in the past. HAL aims to support the bleeding disorders community by addressing these needs.<\/strong><\/p><\/div><\/div>

    In 22 April 2022 HAL\u00a0 celebrated\u00a0 Haemophilia day, it was a health walk from our offices to ministry of Health to present African declaration to the minister And Director General and principal secretary and they all graced us with their Presence, this declaration was to be presented in parliament as a policy and advancement of care for people with haemophilia , The walk walk was very early and it was a success for our advocacy and awareness, we had so much media coverage from national television to private printed news and would like to thank everyone, we were also graced by the Presence of Lesotho Defense Force band , we say salute to their impeccable Presence.<\/div><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    Haemophilia Association of Lesotho – HAL<\/span><\/span> Executive had a meeting with National Drug Service Organization(NDSO) Management in regards to alternating brands and other issues regarding PwBD medication and challenges. The meeting had a core keys in relation with both organization working together in harmony. This Meeting can be marked as successful and Productive Interaction. This is a another milestone of HAL mandate.<\/div><\/div>

Key messages, target decision makers, who benefits and how: These are just some of the topics the HAL<\/span><\/span> agreed upon during an advocacy workshop in Maseru.
